Professional starting new job – room needed mid-Ap

Hi! My name is Eden, and I’m moving to Bristol for a new job as a Security Campus Officer starting on 20th April, so I’m looking for a room from around 17th April.

I’m ideally looking for a short-term room for 1–3 months while I save for a deposit and search for a longer-term flat with my partner and a friend who will also be moving to Bristol soon. Realistically, I’m hoping it will only be 1–2 months, but I’d like the flexibility of up to 3 months just in case.

A bit about me:
I’m friendly, tidy, and very respectful of shared spaces. I will be working a rotating shift pattern (6am–6pm two days, 6pm–6am two nights, then 4 days off), so my schedule will vary quite a lot. Occasionally I’ll be sleeping during the day after night shifts, but I’m a very heavy sleeper, so there’s absolutely no need for anyone to worry about making noise around the house.

During my four days off, I’ll sometimes travel to stay with my partner in Dartmouth, or he may visit me in Bristol, so I won’t always be around.

I enjoy having my own space, but I’m also happy to socialise — I’d always be up for a film night, a walk, or board games if the household fancies it.

A few quick details:
• Full-time employment secured in Bristol
• Looking for a room mid-April for up to 3 months
• Clean, considerate, and reliable with rent
• I vape (don’t smoke), but I’m relaxed if others do
• Big animal lover — if you have dogs or cats, I’d happily help with walks or looking after them!

Interests:
Films, reading, baking, and I’m hoping to get into yoga or callisthenics once I’m settled. I’m also really excited to explore Bristol and make the most of everything the city has to offer.

Ideally, I’d love a room with an ensuite, but it’s not essential if the household is easygoing and a good fit.
