Outdoorsy Professional seeking a room!!

I'm looking for a double / single room within driving distance from Windermere/Ambleside area.

I've been travelling / working overseas for the past 4 years and have very recently returned to the UK and secured a job in the lakes and looking for a room.

I would love to find a room within budget (although flexible) with people who genuinely want to spend time together / try new sports and so on.

I'm love being outside whenever possible. I do a lot of trail running / hiking and want to get back into climbing. But any sport really I enjoy playing socially.

I would love to find a place that allows people to come a visit. It would not be very often but my boyfriend is from Finland and I would like to know he's welcome to stay with me when he visits / friends also. This would not be often. He would probably come maybe once everyone 3 or so months.
