Young Professional Looking for Flatshare

Hey!

I'm a 26-year-old Software Engineer currently looking for accommodation in Edinburgh or Glasgow. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but moved to Scotland in February 2022 and have fallen in love with the country. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere I can stay relatively long term while I save up for a deposit for a house.

I work remote full time so I'd need a flat that's a reasonably calm environment Mon-Fri 9-5 since I wouldn't have an office to commute to. On top of that I’d need a bedroom large enough for a decent desk and office chair, but I could also work from a common area if it's quiet. I'd prefer a LGTQ friendly space since I'm currently in a poly relationship with a NB partner and would like them to feel comfortable when they visit, and if possible I'd prefer not to take on a Joint Tenancy since they can be a nightmare to sort once one of us needs to move out.

I'm triple vaxxed and as a flatmate I like to keep everything clean in common areas and keep noise to a minimum so I'm not annoying everyone else. I cook mostly from a wok so I don't really need much kitchen space either. Also, fun bonus! My work gives me a £50 budget for my internet every month, which means so long as the flat internet bill is less than that I can cover the entire thing myself.

I don't smoke and I only really drink socially. When I do go out it's usually for drinks with friends or to something nerdy like a board game night or D&D. I also like to keep fit when I can since my job has me sitting still for 8 hours a day and I need to do something to postpone the inevitable terrible posture and carpel tunnel that comes with desk work.

I'm currently based in Glasgow, but evening/weekend viewings in Edinburgh should still be doable. I can also do remote viewings no problem.
