Looking for a room around Edinburgh

I’m a 33 year old Lithuanian professional looking for a double room in Edinburgh as I’m relocating from Berwick-upon-Tweed for a new job opportunity. I’ve been living in the UK for over eight years now and I’m really looking forward to starting this next chapter.

I’m transitioning from working in a busy holiday park in the sports and leisure industry into a more admin and social media focused role. The position will mainly be work from home, though I’ll likely be office based once or twice a week once my employer’s Edinburgh office is ready. Because of that, I’m ideally looking for a double room with enough space for a small desk and laptop setup so I can work comfortably from home when needed.

A bit about me - I live a very active lifestyle. I swim, run and cycle regularly and compete in triathlons, so I’m often out training or keeping busy. I love live music and going to concerts, and travelling is a big passion of mine - I try to backpack somewhere new each year (this winter I explored Southeast Asia).

I’m friendly, respectful and easy to live with. I enjoy being social and having a chat or sharing a meal, but I also value downtime and personal space. I can happily fit into both a sociable household and a calmer environment - I think a home should feel relaxed and positive for everyone.

I’m ideally looking for a friendly household in a nice, quiet area where I can feel at home rather than just renting a room.
