Searching For My New Home
Hi, Im Kath! I am in my forties and I am retired (its a long story). I am also a part time student.
I am in search of a peaceful and welcoming home where I can relax, study and just live my little life!
Very sadly, my home of almost 7 years is coming to an end soon as my landlords are selling our home (I am the lodger!). I will come with glowing references from them.
Ideally, I am looking for a space of my own where I would be allowed to bring my two well behaved, adult cats (who have also lived with my current landlords for the past 5 years and can be in the reference too!). My cats need to be able to have access to outside space, and I quite like rural/semi rural living too.
I have all my own furniture (and plenty of it!) so a one or two bed sole occupancy place would be ideal, but I will also consider house shares, studio, community living spaces etc...
Whether it's a self-contained dwelling or a welcoming communal living space, I am open to exploring every possibility. The primary factor is finding a long-term and affordable home.
Additionally, access to transport to the University of Bristol is a consideration, with a maximum travel time of 2 hours as a guide (but closer the better really!). Basically needs to be on a decent trainline to Temple Meads.
I am relatively quiet, friendly, thoughtful and keep myself to myself, although I am sociable and I hope to be able to explore any new area and make some new friends!
I am more night in than night out, but it does depend. I like going out to see or do things, just not purely for drinking . And I am probably way past clubbing now. I don't drink or use drugs, and although I don't have a problem with it per-se, I am not looking to live in a party house at all (I love to sleep).
I enjoy creative stuff, going to the cinema, music inc live music, walking, swimming, and am up for trying most hobbies etc. But in all honesty I am just a boring spinster with two cats working hard for my degree 😂
I have no real preference on area and am pretty open on the type of accommodation. Have previously done bedsit, annexe, caravan, and large and small house shares with all ages and walks of life.
If anyone has any ideas, suggestions or thinks they have the solution for me... get in touch!
Thanks for reading!
