PhD Student / Professional (Uni of Edinburgh)

Hello, I'm Eoghan. I'm looking for a flat or double room for the final year of my PhD at the University of Edinburgh. I've been at the university for the past three years, recently completed an internship in London, and am now returning to Edinburgh, so looking for a new flat.

My budget is up to £650 per month (maybe a tiny bit higher for the right place). I'm open to different areas, but particularly like Leith and areas around the Meadows, (Bruntsfield, Marchmont, Newington etc). I'm happy to share with students or professionals. As a PhD student I'm council tax exempt, though I'm happy to contribute to council tax bills if sharing with professionals.

I'm easy-going, sociable, and respectful of shared spaces. I enjoy surfing, skiing, cycling, reading, and cooking, and I'm always up for the a shared meal or chat, while also valuing personal space. My PhD is in renewable energy, and I also work part-time in the sector, so I'll be busy during the week. I have a car and like to head out to the east coast surfing whenever I get the chance, flatmates always welcome to join!

Ideally I'm looking for somewhere for at least a year, with the possibility of staying longer depending on work after my PhD. Thanks!
