Trainee Educational Psychologist Seeking Room

About me: I'm 29, and grew up in Dudley (near Birmingham). I do have an accent but it's not that strong 🤣

I'm currently an assitant psychologist. I'm moving to Southampton because I've been accepted on a doctorate course to train and qualify as an Educational Psychologist. I would say I'm passionate about my career but also understand there is more to life than work!

In my first year I will be at the University from Monday to Wednesday. Thursdays are placement days. And Fridays are study leave days. My holidays will be the same as the local school days and I see myself travelling back home to see friends and family during this time.

I've studied, lived and worked in a few places including Vietnam (teaching English), Guildford and Winchester. I think people would describe me as friendly, easygoing and reasonable. I'm also clean, tidy and respectful especially in shared areas. I'm accepting of all people, regardless of race, gender and sexuality. Overall I am a people's person (hence the career choice 🤣) but I do enjoy my own company also.

I'm quite into my sports and fitness so most evenings I will be either playing football or at the gym. I absolutely love music as well, and would be lost without my headphones 🤣

Other things to note, I'm a non-smoker, not religious, don't have any dietrary restrictions and occasionally privy to a drink.

Move-In Date: I'm looking to move in August 2023.

Budget: My budget is £600 per month, including bills and utilities.

Location: Ideally, I'm looking for a place that's within a reasonable distance from the University of Southampton.
