Looking for a double room in London

Hey, I’m Charlie, 28, and I’ve lived in London for three and a half years (originally from Sydney). Looking for a double room in north east London, somewhere like Hackney, Dalston, Stoke Newington, Highbury or Islington, with an easy going group of people.

I work as an account director in fintech, I’m mostly office based but it’d be great to have a room that works for the odd WFH day too. Budget is up to £1,300 pcm including bills, looking to move around the 9th of May.

A bit about me, I love my running and cycling (year round Garmin nerd), I’m a keen traveller and try to get away whenever the bank account allows. Also very happy in the pub on a Friday evening. Basically looking for housemates who are up for the occasional pint, a Sunday roast, or just a generally sociable flat. Equally I really appreciate my own space and recharge time, and get others will too.

Ideally I’d live with 2-4 other people in a mixed house of people at a similar stage of life. I’ve lived in share houses for quite a while now, both with mates and strangers who quickly became mates, so well house trained and happy to share references if needed.
