Seeking Double Room with Bicycle Storage

Hi there,

I am looking to rent a double room in a shared house or find a buddy-up from early July. I am hoping to find somewhere ideally in the area bounded by the Hove/Brighton border, North to Lewes, and anywhere along the coast as far as Seaford.

The main amenities I am looking for are a double room, a washing machine, and access to a garage or a secure space for my bicycles and motorbike as I am a keen cyclist. Somewhere with outdoor space would be ideal as well, as would proximity to somewhere to buy food that's bigger/better than a Tesco Express (I'm a very keen cook).

I'm looking for the kind of housemate(s) who value their home as a sacred space where we should feel safe and comfortable, so they like to keep the place in clean and tidy order within reason and enjoy sharing and spending at least some of the time together. In my dream home maybe we would even be able to grow some of our own food, but that's probably a bit of a pipe-dream in the South East.

I love music and reading; I'm not much into TV. For me it would be much nicer to engage in a conversation or a meal than to vegetate in front of a rectangle of despair!
