Independent professional seeks flat with character

I'm Mathias, a neuroscience researcher based in London for the past couple of years. I'm looking for a place from late April until around winter, when I'll be moving to Paris for a new position.

I work long hours and almost never from home, so the flat is largely yours during the day. Outside of work, most of my free time goes to climbing, or visiting friends and family in Paris. I'm tidy and self-sufficient: the kind of flatmate you'll enjoy running into but won't have to think about. No pets, no smoking, limited noise.

I like to host the occasional dinner with friends and colleagues. Nothing loud or late, but I do enjoy good company around a table, and for the right person, that very much includes you. My girlfriend lives in Paris and visits occasionally, always flagging in advance.

I'm drawn to well-designed spaces and tend to treat them with care. I'm looking for somewhere with character — good light, a sense of considered space. Zone 1–2, ideally. Flexible on budget for the right place.
