Audio engineer looking for spacious room

Hi there, I’m Gene. I am a sound and recording engineer, synths’n’gear nut and indy music maker. I’m looking for a decent sized room here in London to move in long-term.

I mostly work from home with occasional studio/field sessions that may take weeks. I do all my work using headphones, so you can rest assured you won’t be bothered by any of it. I am always up for cooperation, so if you’re into voice recording, music or something similar I’d be happy to offer my professional skills.

It’s not my first time I am to live in a shared property — for the last year I’ve been living in Liverpool renting a room in a house shared with the landlord. I am a friendly, tidy, and super considerate housemate. My interests involve riding my bike, playing PC games and binge-reading wikipedia articles. I visit gym occasionally, like running and hiking. I’m looking for a household with likeminded people and I’d really love finding somewhere I can call/make home and not just somewhere to sleep. I generally prefer a calm and quiet lifestyle, but I equally enjoy hanging out and just generally being part of a house dynamic.

I’m going to need some extra space in the room to accommodate my working place, it’s nothing overly special — a desk, a fancy chair and a small rack of audio gear which I keep under the desk as shown in one of the photos (total dimensions including the chair would be something around w120xd120cm); Would be nice if there’s some space in the house (or outside of it) to store my bike, but it’s optional really.

I will be ready to pass the required checks such as right to rent, income, etc. My current landlord will be happy to back all of the above and submit the needed references.
