Looking for a roommate/flat

Hi! I’m 24, a consultant working for a global engineering firm in central Edinburgh. Unfortunately, my current landlord has decided to sell the flat, so I need to move out by 29th March — meaning I’m ready to move ASAP and can start a tenancy from 1st April.

A little about me:

I grew up in Dubai and moved to the UK 7 years ago, and have lived in Edinburgh for the past 3 years.

I’m very clean, tidy, and respectful — cleanliness is genuinely important to me, and I always do my part to keep shared spaces nice.

Personality-wise, I’m friendly, sociable, and always up for a chat in the kitchen, but I’m very mindful of personal space and downtime too.

Hobbies: I love going to the gym, long walks, exploring new places, trying out cocktail bars, or having a chilled wine night at home. I also love cooking for people — if I’m making dinner, you’ll almost always get a plate too!

I work 3 days a week in the office and WFH 2 days, so a space where I can do that comfortably would be ideal.

What I’m looking for:

A clean, comfortable room in a friendly flat

Budget around £1000 all-in
Ideally somewhere accessible to central Edinburgh

Housemates who are respectful, tidy, and enjoy a balance of social + quiet time
