Friendly, outdoorsy professional moving to London

Hello! I’m a friendly, easy going and considerate professional, moving to London for a one-year research fellowship in the civil service (Defra). Alongside this, I’m midway through a PhD at the University of Cambridge, researching policies for the conservation of tropical forests, which I’ll be pausing for the year.

I’m sociable and enjoy living with people who are friendly and respectful. I’m clean, tidy, and responsible, and value a relaxed, easy-going home where everyone feels comfortable.

I enjoy building a life that’s full of adventure and am generally very active. I love cycling (including bikepacking, and I’ve recently got into ultra-endurance racing), running, bouldering, yoga and outdoor swimming. I also meditate and enjoy spending time in nature, particularly on hiking and cycling adventures. I love listening to music, going to gigs, reading, and cooking - including for others. I come with an eclectic record collection that I’m very happy to share, and plenty of houseplants.

I’m looking for a sociable, friendly household of young professionals who enjoy spending time together but are also respectful of each other’s space. I’d especially love to live with creative people and would be keen to pick up more creative pursuits myself. I’m flexible on location, but access to green space is a priority for me. Somewhere to store a bike (or two) securely would also be important.
