Looking for a room in London (from mid-June)

Hi there,

I’m looking for a room in London from around 13th June, as I’ll be relocating to start a new role with a health charity based in Fitzrovia. Ideally, I’m looking for somewhere well-connected and with a friendly, relaxed living environment.

A bit about me: I’m a working professional, tidy, considerate, and easy to live with. I’m sociable and enjoy getting to know housemates, but I also respect personal space and downtime.

I’ll initially be moving with my partner, who is currently doing her PhD in Edinburgh. She would stay with me until around September/October, after which she’ll be heading to India for fieldwork for about a year. From then on, it would just be me, with her visiting occasionally for short stays every few months.

As she is a full-time PhD student, we’d also be happy to consider a student household (which may help with council tax arrangements), but we’re equally open to mixed or professional homes.

I’m open to both furnished and unfurnished rooms, and ideally looking for a place where I can stay long-term if it’s a good fit.
