Looking for nice & functional Short Term Room

I'm looking for a comfortable short-term room (contractor rooms might suit, but any arrangement open to short stays), preferably with a desk & chair in the room.

I am an IT Professional who does coaching, consulting & software development. Friendly and conversational, and also quiet & unobtrusive when I'm focused on my work.

I like to get out walking each day for at least an hour. In the nicer months, I spend most of my days outdoors, laptop & camping chair in my bag, exploring the local surroundings & taking my work with me.

I'm interested in short-term stays as a method of keeping on the move and discovering places in the UK I've not spent much time in yet.

As I'm unlikely to become a long-term lodger or tenant, I'm ideally looking for a compatible week-by-week arrangement with minimal to no deposit.
