Room required for me.

Hi there. My name is Martin. I'm a Senior Science Technician in a Swansea secondary school. I'm currently living in Bridgend, but I need to move at the end of May, so I want to relocate to Swansea to be nearer to work. I'm looking for a room in a house share, preferably a double, but I'm not that fussy really. As long as I have enough room to put my clothes and ridiculously large collection of Queen (the band, not the late monarch) and insect/spider books, I’m happy :) I’m a very keen amateur macro photographer, so I love to be outdoors chasing critters and demanding that they stay still long enough for me to photograph them! I love music, particularly heavy rock and metal, but I use headphones to listen so there will be no disturbance from thumping blast beats and screeching guitar solos from me.

I’m not overly social, but I do enjoy chatting and meeting with new people, especially if they like to talk about Star Wars, Queen or Laurel and Hardy. But honestly, I’ll talk about anything. I love a good coffee shop, especially for reading (I do love a book), and sometimes to edit my photos in, and I love a pint or two in the pub too. I’m definitely not a night club or party person, but I don’t hold it against others who do.

I’m currently single (hence the move away from Bridgend), and have two grown up children (26 & 28). I have no pets, but I’m happy to share with a household who do have them.

As I work in a school I have plenty of time off which I plan to use wisely to discover the beautiful part of Wales that Swansea resides. Dw i’n dysgu Cymraeg ar hyn o bryd, so I also want to develop and improve that (though I’m not looking for a Welsh speaking house).

I’m vegan, but I’m not a preachy vegan, and I’m perfectly happy to share with those who are not vegan.
