Looking for a double room for 1 year

Hello lovely people!

I am Alessandra, a 30-year-old Italian girl living in London for her first time.
Born in Florence, I have moved from Milan to London two weeks ago due to an internal promotion.

I am currently living in Canary Wharf; I will have to leave my current apartment from the end of June 2024. Looking for a place to stay for one year. If you are planning any visit to the apartment or would like to grab a beer (even virtually!) let me know 😊

My must haves:
1. Double room
2. Preferably with own bathroom
3. Close to public transportation and well connected to central London
4. Social, clean and nice environment

About me:

• Graduated in psychology:
Cons: I cannot read people’s mind.
Pro: good listener and deep love for people watching on weekends

• I work in fashion for a multinational company in the luxury industry, I love fashion, but I am more focused on the cultural impact of it.
Work from the office 3 to 4 times a week and 1 or 2 days I WFH.

• For the past 12 years I have moved to a different city every two years.
I have lived in shared flats for almost half of my life, therefore some of my closest friends were first my roommates.

• Where? I lived in the Netherlands for a year, the rest of my life I was staying in different cities across Italy. My friends are kind of everywhere in the world therefore I often travel to go visit them, but I am a big fan of solo travelling (last year I have spent one month in Indonesia solo travelling and backpacking).

• How do I live the apt? I am very respectful of everyone’s privacy and independency, but I also love to share common spaces and spend time with my roommates. I do also love to meet with their friends and I have nothing against inviting friends and partners in the apartment if it respects everyone’s needs in the house.

• Hobbies: I am a people enthusiast, I love music (from metal to pop), I love to sing and play even though I am not good at it (Uku, guitar & piano), love movies, art, gigs, stand ups, tattoos, travelling, yoga & cycling.

• I am a foodie: I love to cook and try new restaurants and cafes. (wine > beer!!!!)

• I don’t like labels, but I cannot see myself living in any apartments that does not support inclusivity, see everyone’s differences as an added value and supports the LGBTQ+ community.
