Busy man looking for somewhere

Hello!
I'm looking for a room (preferably a double) within either a house or a flat. I'm happy to share with either males or females

I would say I do value levels of comfort, space, quiet, and positive exchanges with others. I’m a newly qualified Counsellor, so I’m trying to keep my relatively new business going as the work I do is very important. I’m also employed by the mental health charity MIND as a Community Befriender. I am a qualified Care (support) Worker, and previously worked in a residential care home for the disabled in Harrow, Middx. Working there prompted my curiosity in the “meaning of life”, and being able to get more out of it, leading me to study Counselling and Psychology.
Interests: I’ve got so many interests, but they include:
• Yoga, Meditation, New Age therapy

• Writing: it forms a very important part of my counselling and personal development

• DIY: I do relatively small jobs, but get satisfaction from what I can do, saving a bit of time and money in the process.

• Music: my musical tastes are so varied so are not necessarily specific. I grew up listening to sixties and seventies songs, then gravitated towards things like Jazz, world music, and many other sounds. I also worked in music retail for ten years, which was a very valuable experience for me.

• Films: I still love films, when I get the time to watch. My tastes include some of the stuff that comes out in the local cinemas, but I equally, I also like world cinema
• Cooking: I happen to be vegetarian, and enjoy cooking meals, including Indian and Chinese dishes. I do sometimes cook meat dishes for non- veggie friends I have, as I try to be accommodating to all tastes and preferences.
It is my nature to be as accommodating as possible, and would describe myself as friendly, perceptive, helpful, patient, understanding, sensitive, and, with a reasonably good sense of humour. I feel part of a team even if only living with one other person.
