Something Short Term-ish Needed for me & my Dog

Hello I'm Nicola. I've just sold my house- It's looking as though it'll complete around mid-May (I don't have a firm date yet). As soon as it does I'll be moving to the Sheffield area where I'll be looking to buy a new home as soon as I can. In the meantime I'll be needing to lodge somewhere- Sheffield or surrounding area.

I don't mind a furnished or unfurnished room - a decent size would be good.

I'll have Finn the dog with me. He's a lovely boy & will soon be 3. He's well behaved & is all about the cuddles. On an evening when he goes out to have a wee he does like to have a bark to let foxes & cats know he's in charge (there are a lot of foxes where we currently live). It's brief though & I make sure that it is.

I'm easy going & easy to live with. I've had lodgers myself the last few years so I know what I would expect. I am very respectful of someones home & other peoples space. Shoes off / tidy up after myself etc. I can help with housework if you'd like. I'm mostly vegetarian. Finn is not. I've been working in an organic food co-operative for the past 24 years.

We'll be out a fair bit looking for a house. We also walk / hike a lot - we are explorers. I'm mainly moving to Sheffield as it looks so green - can't wait to start exploring the Peak District.
On an evening I get into bed fairly early & like to read or watch a film. I make sure Finn is worn out so that he settles quickly and is soon snoring (he sleeps in the same room as me).

Once I've secured a home & am waiting to move in, I'll most probably have a bit of a holiday - maybe camping somewhere, so we'll not be under your feet all the time.
(Job wise: I'm quitting and will work again once resettled).

Let me know if you've any questions / we sound as though we may be a fit. I'm happy to have a video call at the moment whilst I'm elsewhere (down South). My things will be in storage. I'd be looking to find somewhere that can be flexible on dates for move in & move out.
