Looking for a room / housemates in Manchester

Hello I’m moving up to Manchester in late June or early July for my job as a journalist. I’m looking for a spare room or for people who want to buddy up and find somewhere together. Preferably in south Manchester, Chorlton or Didsbury, or in Ancoats, but I’m open to anywhere.

Key things about me: I’m a mean cook and make a banging margarita. I’m keen to be friends as well as just housemates, though I do also sometimes like to slink off to do my own thing. I’m really excited about living so near the Peaks and want to do lots of weekend hiking.

On a practical level, I’m clean and tidy and I’m looking for somewhere with parking as I’ll be travelling around a fair amount for work.
