Looking for single/double room in Brixton!!

Who I am:
My name is Aspen. I am currently living in Brooklyn, New York and before that I lived in Los Angeles for about a year, but originally born and raised in a small town in North Carolina.
My passion and love for music specifically, as a singer-songwriter has fueled this journey of mine and allowed me to not only create beautiful new experiences but also gain more knowledge as a student of the arts, and life- of course. Throughout the last 5 years, I have worked in hospitality, reception, freelance modeling, brand ambassador work, and customer service/retail. I enjoy watching films/documentaries, dancing, meditation, curating my fashion, playing games/sports, and learning about almost anything! Also, I am a POC & LGBTQ+ ally!

What I am looking for:
I am moving to London in hopes to expand my knowledge and experience within the arts, (music & entertainment),
***My first goal is to establish a job once I move (hopefully beforehand)***
I have known I wanted to leave the US by the end of 2024, but I am looking to take that jump sooner & and move to London by the end of June, or the 1st of July. Hopefully earlier if circumstances allow it (finding housing). I have been specifically looking at Brixton for its music but I am aware of other places like Camden, SOHO, etc. I'd consider myself to be a very respectful, responsible, clean, and communicative roommate.
I would prefer to live with housemates who are clean & prioritize a tidy, clean space. Other than that, I am just hoping the tenants are respectful, kind, & communicative. (And welcoming of POC). Some amenities I’d be fond of are:
-A furnished room with bed and desk, preferably closet space
-A room with natural light/windows is important
-A shared living room
-A private bathroom (if applicable)
-Washer/dryer (I am noticing dryers aren’t that common in London so no worries)
-£400-£720 Budget

I am deposit and first month ready. If all goes as planned, I am 100% comfortable paying before moving in, but thoroughly doing a background check and virtual tour through Facetime where I can meet the tenants & see the place.
