PhD student looking for a room sep-dec

Hello,
My name is Kaja and I am an PhD student at the University of Bergen in Norway. I am staying for three months as a guest reseacher at the University of Sussex and I am looking for a room to rent.

I am a calm, but warm and friendly 34 year old lady interested in yoga, couple's dancing and reading. I am trained as a Social Anthropologist and my main goal with my stay in the UK is to write on my PhD thesis, but I also hope to befriend new people and to learn about the local community, british history and culture.

I am quite open for various types of rooms and locations. I prefer a cheap price, since I arrive on a low budget, and as long as I can commute to the University of Sussex (social sciences campus) by collective transport within 40 minutes, I am quite flexible regarding location.

I am personally a tidy person concerned with cleanliness, but I am also able to adapt to other people's habits. I am happy to share bathroom and kitchen, but will need a single bedroom. Access to a desk is preferrable, but not a requirement.
