Seeking room in late March/April

I'm an American who moved to London in September 2023 for a Master's degree. I came to the UK from Washington, DC but am originally from Chicago. After I graduated last winter I've been working in the innovation sector. Somehow I'm 29 but mentally feel like I should be 26!

I currently live in Hampstead but am looking to move to a bit of a younger area in a flat that's a bit more friendly (especially with having family so far away!). I love living in London and am excited to stay for another few years at least. I would prefer to be north or east esp Islington or Bethnal Green but would consider some areas south like Bermondsey/London Bridge.

A little more about me - I like reading, cooking/baking, running, fitness, biking around London, and practicing my French. I've enjoyed traveling around Europe since moving here and always have something planned. My friends and I are usually out exploring London's parks, restaurants, pubs, wine bars, coffee shops, and markets.

People describe me as very chill and laid back. I consider myself very clean and organized especially in common areas—big fan of cleaning schedules or hiring an occasional cleaner.
