Japanese 31 year old female / looking for a room

Hi! I’m Ayaka, a Japanese artist and photographer who moved to London from Tokyo about a year ago.

I’m currently looking for a room in East London and hoping to move around the end of March or the beginning of April. My budget is around £900 and ideally I’d love a reasonably spacious room.

I work as an artist and photographer, so sometimes I spend a lot of time working from home, but I also travel quite often for projects and exhibitions, which means there are also periods when I’m away for longer.

If possible, it would be great if subletting is allowed when I’m away. My current place doesn’t allow it and I unfortunately ended up paying several months of rent while travelling.

I really love animals, so living with a dog would actually be a big plus for me.

My English is still a work in progress, but I’m friendly and easy to live with. I’m also very clean and respectful of shared spaces.

I’d love to live in a relaxed and friendly home rather than just a place to sleep
