Mature student looking for a house share

Hi,

I am looking for a room in a shared house, close to the Cardiff Uni main building or somewhere around Colum
Drive or Senghenydd Rd. I will be studying Computing there full-time since September 2026.
I am considering both student and professional house shares.

My preferences:
As close to the Cardiff Uni main building as possible;
Non-smoking household!!;
budget £500 with at least some bills included,
Spacious room so I could stretch a bit on the floor.
Good kitchen with enough preparation, fridge and storage space - I cook in bulk on weekends,
No live-in landlords,
Ideally, no carpets on the floor.
Would love to buy my own bed rather than using a squeaky old one or IKEA.
Would love to have my own fridge in my room as I am vegan. I am happy to pay for the energy consumed by the fridge in advance.

About myself: I am learning Cymraeg, and will be very happy to practice it at home, if you up to it.
I am not a social butterfly, but can enjoy occasional chat. I am quiet, nerdy, don't drink, don't smoke, don't party, love quiet environment and peace of mind.
I consider myself easy-going, and would not interfere with whatever you are doing if it does not infringe on my living space. Live and let live.
