Looking for a Single Room in Guildford

Hello, my name is Sneha. I’m a 30-year-old working professional and a recent MSc Finance graduate from the University of Surrey.

I’m looking for a clean, peaceful, and comfortable room in Guildford, ideally around Ladymead (near Lidl), or areas such as Onslow Village or Stoke Park. I’m open to other parts of town too.

I work full time with early morning shifts, and I value a quiet and respectful home environment and am mindful of keeping noise to a minimum. I’m tidy, considerate, and experienced in shared living with mixed and international housemates. I don’t smoke or drink, and while I’m lacto-vegetarian, I’m comfortable with non-veg being cooked or eaten in the house.

Cleanliness is important to me. I clean up after myself, take care when using shared facilities and furnishings, and keep common areas tidy, which helps maintain a pleasant and well-kept living space for everyone. I’m friendly and easy-going - appreciate a relaxed, well-run household. Occasional shared meals or spending time together are welcome when it suits everyone, while personal space is always respected. I believe a home works best when it feels comfortable, easy, and mutually respectful.

I’m open to mixed households and available to move in from around 15th March (or a few days sooner if required) and am looking for a stay of at least six months. While I don’t have a UK guarantor due to having recently graduated as an international student, I’m in full-time employment and able to comfortably manage rent and bills, and I wanted to mention this upfront to avoid any inconvenience.
