Short-Term Let Required: 3rd-Year Physics Student

To prospective landlords and flatmates,

I am a 2nd year Physics student at the University of Surrey going into 3rd year, seeking a short-term accommodation arrangement in Guildford for the upcoming autumn term (approximately September to December).

Reason for Short-Term Let:
As part of my degree, I will be undertaking a research placement during my second semester, which means I will be relocating after Christmas. Because of this, I am only seeking a room for the first semester. This could be an ideal arrangement for a live-in landlord seeking a temporary lodger, or a house share needing to fill a room while a current tenant is away for the autumn.

About Me:
As a 3rd year STEM student, my schedule is demanding and highly focused.

Lifestyle: The majority of my time will be spent on campus, in the laboratory, or studying quietly. In my downtime, I am a big music fan—though I always use headphones when studying or late at night, so you never have to worry about noise! I do not smoke, I do not host parties, and I maintain a very predictable and quiet routine.

Character: I am respectful, highly organized, and communicative. I understand the importance of respecting shared spaces and ensuring a peaceful environment for everyone in the house.

Cleanliness: I am meticulous about keeping both my personal space and communal areas clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements:

Dates: September to December (flexible on exact move-in/move-out dates within these months).

Budget: Up to £700 per calendar month (ideally inclusive of bills).

Location: Within a reasonable commute to the Stag Hill campus (walking, cycling, or public transport).

I am fully prepared to provide character references, a guarantor, or previous landlord references upon request to guarantee my reliability as a tenant.
