Friendly ecologist + cat looking for next home

Interested in joining existing houseshares or buddying up to rent

We are a 33 year old ecologist and 5 year old sweet cat named Sephe, currently looking for our next place to call home. While Sephe doesn't work, Courtney works full time through the week, plus two or three nights a week through May to September, fully supports and funds Sephe's freeloading lifestyle.

I love to cook (no dietary preferences but happy to be flexible around that), bake bread and read, and occasionally wildswim and paddle board where I can. Recently got into bouldering and mountain hikes, aiming to do a summit a month this year!

I'm very easy going and sociable and would ideally like to live with other sociable people but I can manage that myself if that's not your bag. My ideal night out being a few drinks at the pub or a friend's house with good people, perhaps round a firepit. I also have a bunch of houseplants I'd like to bring with me, they don't tend to get involved with the social stuff though.

I do have a car which I use for work, so would ideally need space to park, but could potentially work something out for the right place if needed.

Sephe is an indoor cat, very well behaved, and pretty shy. She may come round to others, but while she likes to have her own space she will just run away and hide if she's not feeling it - she's never bitten or deliberately scratched anyone or anything she shouldn't.
