PhD student looking for a room

Hi everyone!

My name is Gianluca, I’m 28 and from Italy.
I’ll be in Edinburgh from March 18th to 18th June to carry out a research for a period abroad as part of my PhD in psychology.

I’ll be working in the Saughton area (EH11). I’m currently looking for accommodation — either a small studio/one-bedroom apartment or a room in a shared flat. Ideally in a quiet neighborhood; it doesn’t necessarily have to be very close to Saughton, as long as it’s well connected.

I was already in Edinburgh last year, also for a period of research!

Ideally, it would have a single or double bed and include a reliable Wi-Fi connection, which is essential for my study and work.
My budget is around £800 per month, bills included, but I’m flexible if the place is a good fit.

I’m tidy, quiet, respectful of shared spaces.
I’m happy to live in a shared house.
Some days I’ll work from home, other days I’ll be out most of the time.

In my free time I enjoy staying active and playing sports, especially outdoors when the weather allows.
I’m looking for a calm and friendly environment where I can study and work in peace.
