Trans Femme Looking for Queer Sanctuary

Hi! I’m Jo (she/her), a 27-year-old trans femme, relocated to London last November on Youth Mobility Scheme from South Korea. I am a freelance Korean linguist & actor and am looking to collect more hats to wear in the future. I moved all the way here looking for a trans-friendly environment to start my medical transition, so I’m hoping to find a queer-affirming home where I can feel safe and supported in my journey, ideally with flatmates who are also trans, gender-expansive, or queer as well.

Before moving back to Korea for mandatory military service where I served as an Army Linguist for 18 months, I studied Theatre & Film in Los Angeles and New York City. I last played Romeo in an English-language production in Seoul. While I’m currently taking a break from acting, I would love to explore the local arts/theatre scene.

I like to cycle and swim. The nature of my job calls for work from home a lot of the times so having a home office would be nice. I like trying new recipes when I have the headspace. I always try to be respectful of the shared area.

My current lease in Streatham ends on 12 February. I am aiming for £800 PCM, ideally in Zones 1–3, but I’m flexible for the right space and people.
