I'm urgently seeking short-term accommodation in Leicester for an immediate move-in, ideally for 2 weeks to 2 months (flexible).
I'm a transgender woman (male-to-female) claiming Universal Credit, and I understand this can sometimes make renting more challenging. I'm therefore happy to pay a premium above standard rates to secure a suitable place quickly.
Key requirements:
• A formal signed tenancy or rental agreement (even if short-term) is essential, as this is needed for my Universal Credit housing element claim.
• The property should be a standard private rental (e. g., room in shared house, studio, 1-bed flat, HMO licence if applicable) rather than purely holiday-let, Airbnb-style, or hostel-style temporary accommodation, to maximise the chance of housing cost support.
