IT professional moving to Cardiff

I’m Jake, I’m a 30 year old IT professional trying to move to Cardiff.

I have been travelling Canada for the last 2 years and have just arrived back home (Edinburgh). I have always loved Cardiff and would love the opportunity to live here and fully experience it!

I’m a spoken word poet so will often spend evenings out at open mics. I’m a heavily creative person (music, poetry, theatre) and the arts scene in Cardiff is honestly one of the biggest attractions for me. I like to cook and I genuinely enjoy cleaning (it’s my therapy). I like podcasts, spending time in nature and a good game of tennis. I’ve lived both on my own and with flatmates (even doing a long stint in a backpackers hostel).

Ideally I'm looking for a room with a double bed, a desk and a window that gets natural light. I'd like to live with people who are calm and friendly. I really appreciate company and love having someone to chat to but I’m also more than happy let to my own devices. I’m a normal calm, friendly person.

For the time being I’m looking for a short term let (1 month) but if all goes well I may want to stay longer. If you have a room available and think I’d be a good fit please get in touch!
