Friendly Woman Looking for Home Away From Home

Hi, I’m looking for a room in Devon, ideally around Totnes or Dartmouth, but I’m open to locations as far west as Tavistock, east to Beer and would also gladly consider Somerset—particularly Glastonbury or Wells.

I’m hoping for a 1–3 month stay, though I’d consider longer if it feels like a good fit. I live in the US and like to spend time in England each year as a personal respite—a chance to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a quieter pace of life.

I’m retired, mature, quiet, clean, and respectful, and very mindful of living in someone else’s home. I’m friendly but independent, considerate with noise and shared spaces, and easy to live with. I don’t mind pets at all.

I enjoy travelling, continuing my Tai Chi practice, and spending time outdoors—especially walks in nature. I don’t have a car, so being within a 15-minute walk of public transport would be ideal.
