Looking for lodgings within 2 miles of Hyde Park

I am a conscientious academic in my early 30s looking for lodgings--ideally furnished--in central London, with or without roommates. Will prioritize cleanliness, and proximity to tube stations and parks. As a roommate, when I'm not busy with work or other personal projects, I'm down to hangout--either to cook, play music, go for a workout or adventure, or just chat. I'm Canadian and it will be my first time living in London, so I'm very excited to get to know the city! I'd ideally not like to pay more than 1100 per month, including bills, but I'm a little flexible. Of course I'm also happy to pay less.

Please note: I'm ideally looking for something less than 2 or 3 miles from Imperial College/Hyde Park area. Please do not reach out if your lodgings are further away than this. Thanks a bunch:)
