Seeking bright, quiet home for creative couple

Hello! My partner Cedric and I are moving from Australia to London for the next 2-3 years. Looking for a place to call home during that time.

We’re both creatives – Cedric is a photographer / filmmaker / creative director and I am a writer / gardener working mostly in communications roles for not-for-profit organisations.

We’re pretty easy going, quiet people who like to make home a safe, restful space. Since we both work from home a lot of the time, we take lots of care with the space. We’re not the partying type, but we do enjoy connecting deeply with people and the place we’re living in. We like to host the occasional wholesome, home-cooked dinner with friends.

We both love walking and exploring. I particularly love natural spaces, and so finding a home that’s close to some parks or wild spaces would be ideal. Even better if there’s a little courtyard or balcony where I can grow some herbs and veggies. I’m keen to get involved in some local community gardens and earth-care projects while here.

Cedric works mostly in the music industry, but also does some fashion and commercial work too. He loves to play basketball in his down time, or play the guitar.

We’re open to living on our own or with some other folk who like a mix of doing their own thing and having a sense of community. We don’t have any pets, but are open to living with them.

We’ve done a fair bit of travelling (last year we lived in Tokyo) and really enjoy the slow kind of travelling where you get to know a place deeply. Since our first visit to London a few years ago, we’ve both been very keen to live here – we both find it an inspiring city creatively and career-wise.
