Seeking a sanctuary

Hi,

My name's Mark, 38 years old, queer. Firmly past the party (I rarely go out out), I'm looking for more than just a person to split the rent with - I'm looking for someone to co-create a sanctuary with. After a few chaotic house shares and one very small space for four years, I'd like a larger and more homely vibe rather than somewhere to crash after work. We don't need to live in each others pockets but being friends is nice, I can't live with a ghost behind the walls.

After parties are a firm no, dinner parties are a hard yes.

I'd like a home that feels like an exhale: clean, aesthetically pleasing and emotionally regulated - open and honest communication without anger is a necessity.

About me: I work in retail management and also run my own business - my hours can be incredibly varied so I usually have one week day and one weekend day off. I tend to spend mornings at the gym before work so the likelihood is we'll see each other in the evenings. I love to cook, I make a mean marg and I also sew costumes so expect to hear a sewing machine once every couple of months when I have time. I also game (ps5) and when time allows, you'll find me at the tattoo studio (my happy place)

I am open to buddy ups and don't mind having a furnished or unfurnished property. The ideal room would have to be quite large and the dream is fitted wardrobes (I have a LOT of clothes and not being able to see them when I enter my room on an additional rail would be amazing).

About you: in a similar life phase, financially stable, sociable, no parties at home, respectful of boundaries, communicative and honest, able to discuss and problem solve without shouting. Ideally LGBTQ.
