Looking for a room (short term)

Hi,

I’ve just secured a new job in Bristol as an engineer starting in May. I currently live abroad in Cyprus (for the last 7 years) and so need somewhere short term whilst I find a property to buy. I believe around 6 months but this could be shorter or longer (obviously at landlords discretion).

Ideally I’m looking for a double room with space for a desk as well as an en-suite but happy for any suggestions to be fired over. Parking is a bonus, if there is an electric car charger this would be even better - obviously the extra electric would be paid no issues whatsoever.

I’m a clean and tidy individual, lived abroad for this whole time with my friend which has been harmonious.

Open to households of friends where I can integrate with the household or the complete opposite, rooms in family homes where I can take more of a backseat.

I have a rescue dog from Cyprus, if he could stay that would be great but if not my family are happy to have him and then I’d spend weekends with them and him.
