Hi! I’m a 53-year-old American moving to Ambleside/Windermere to begin my Master’s at the University of Cumbria in September 2026.
I’m looking for a room from September 2026 through May 2027.
I’m easy-going, respectful, and tidy, and I value a calm and comfortable home. I’m independent, financially responsible, and used to shared living spaces. I enjoy good conversation, the outdoors, music, reading, and the occasional glass of wine — but I’m equally happy with quiet evenings and early nights when studying.
I lived overseas for several years and am culturally adaptable and flexible. I’m considerate about noise, shared spaces, and keeping things clean. Ideally looking for a friendly household where everyone has their own rhythm but is comfortable saying hello in the kitchen.
Open to co-living or a private landlord situation. Looking forward to this new chapter in the Lake District!
