Professional Remodeler Seeking Room – Open to Reduced Rent for Property Improvements

Hi, I’m Iain — a London-based remodeler looking for a single spare room for a 6–12 month stay.
I’m clean, reliable, and easy to live with, and I’m ideally looking for a landlord who would be open to a reduced rent arrangement in exchange for property improvements.
Alongside paying rent, I can carry out agreed refurbishment work to help improve the property over time. Typical work I undertake includes:
Decorating & finishing
Kitchen improvements
Bathroom upgrades
General repairs & maintenance
A full refurbishment package could be in the region of £9,000 value, depending on what the property needs — all work would be agreed in advance with clear scope and expectations.
This can work particularly well for:
Landlords with properties that need updating
HMOs or houses with wear and tear
Live-in landlords open to gradual improvements
I’m respectful of shared spaces, work independently, and keep everything tidy as I go.
