Looking for a room or buddy-up

I'm a 32yo professional. My current contract is coming to an end in June, and I've been here for 7 years, so I'm looking at my options.

Open to renting on my own, have someone join my flat or buddy up and move to Chorlton/Stretford. I have accumulated quite a lot of furniture so unfurnished or part-furnished rents work well for me.

I like a mix of staying indoors and going out (concerts, improv, nature/hikes). I work as a business manager at the usual 9-to-5 office job nearby. I have a pet corn snake, Jessssica, who is very chill and spends most of her time in her vivarium with the occasional supervised wanders around the living room. So, it would be best if you’re not afraid of snakes, but I would not take her out in front of you if you’re not comfortable with that!

Ideally, I’m looking for a flatmate who is a good communicator so that we can talk about cleaning, shopping or anything else relating to the house openly. If we’re both in the mood, we can watch a film or the latest reality TV show in the living room together or give each other space if work’s been tough recently or we just want to read.
