Hello! I am a university teacher/assistant professor (male, 32 year-old) from China, moving to Edinburgh for a 12-month academic visiting at Edinburgh Napier University (Merchiston Campus). I will be arriving on 30th March 2026.

As an academic, I lead a very quiet, tidy, and organised lifestyle. My research is fully funded, so I have a stable financial background and am a very reliable tenant. I don't smoke, have no pets, and I value a peaceful living environment. I'm friendly and easy-going, but I also respect personal space and privacy.

My Requirements:
I am looking for a long-term room (6-12 months) with the following:

1. En-suite bathroom (best, my priority) or 2-bedroom flat (second option).

2. Furnished: A comfortable bed, a wardrobe, and a desk for some light evening work.

3. Shared Facilities: Access to a clean kitchen and laundry facilities (washing machine).

4. Connectivity: Reliable Wi-Fi is essential for my research.
