Friendly Chef|Notting Hill/Kensington|ASAP

Hi, I’m Antonino (Tony), Italian. I’m moving back to London permanently and I’m looking for a clean, comfortable room (or studio) ASAP. I will most likely be working around the Notting Hill / Ladbroke Grove / Kensington area, so I’m looking for somewhere within a 20–30 minute walk. Ideally I’d like to avoid using the Tube for commuting.

I’m 40 (but I promise I don’t look it 😄). I’ll be in London from 29 March and I can move in straight away. I also have permanent UK right to live and work in the UK (settled status).

I’m a professional chef and I’ve worked in Michelin-starred kitchens and luxury brands, so I’m used to discipline, high standards and being respectful in shared spaces. At home I’m tidy, reliable, easy-going and friendly. I do smoke, and I drink rarely. I’m not a daily party person, but I’m social and I enjoy going out sometimes when I’m not working. I’m also vegetarian.

In my free time I like reading, walking, cooking (of course), meeting new people, and exploring London. I’m also into manga, video games and music, so I’m easy to chat with and pretty laid-back.

I’m happy in a friendly house share, but I also respect privacy and I like a calm home—especially after long shifts. Ensuite preferred, but I’m open to the right place. I’m ready to pay a deposit immediately.

Budget: up to £1,400 per month including bills.
Preferred areas (walkable): Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Park, Holland Park, Kensington, Bayswater, Shepherd’s Bush (near Holland Park side).
Move-in: from 29 March / early April (flexible).
