31 YO Young Professional

Hi! I’m Melissa, 31, and looking for a room from the mid/end of April (with some flexibility in this)..

I work for Hackney Council as a Development Officer in the team building/delivering new social housing. I’m usually in the office at least 3 days a week, but sometimes more.

I’ve been living and working in London for the past 6 years and have built a nice life here with friends and my sister dotted across the city, so I’m pretty independent day-to-day. Before London I lived in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Australia working and studying in various forms! I’ve travelled quite a lot and definitely utilise annual leave to get away a lot on weekends…

In my spare time I like to stay active (hiking, yoga, eating out - probably like most young professionals in the city lol), but I also really value downtime in my home so would appreciate a place we can chill independently or sit with a glass of wine and have a laugh/gossip/unpack the world’s problems. I’m clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces, and looking for a friendly, relaxed home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

If it’s helpful I have furniture, kitchen equipment (espresso machine) and other items to contribute to the home.
