Man and cat looking for a room

Hi from Clio and me!

I’m moving back to Brighton from Newport, Wales, for work. I’m looking for a place from the 10th onwards. My partner and I are currently in the purgatorial process of buying a flat so hopefully I won’t need it for more than a few months (or else I will start crying. For a very long time.) Perhaps three or four months at most?

I work for the NHS as a librarian, starting a new role at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. I’m not the most exciting person in the world, but my interests include fly fishing, writing, singing (I have sung in various choirs and once for the Pope). Latterly my interests include bell ringing.

Clio is two. She is a breed called a Nebelung and she is French (or at least that’s where her previous owner told me she was from. I have tried to speak to her in French but the jury is out whether she understands). She is mostly an indoors cat but she does go outside. She is house-trained, vaccinated, microchipped, registered with a vet etc. She is a playful little girl and gentle and very attached to me. I will be fully responsible for her at all times.

We are looking for anything from a house share, a lodging arrangement or a whole flat. Preferably with access to a garden if possible but it isn’t essential.
