Friendly Aussie looking for room in Manchester

Hi! I’m a 24 yr old West Australian moving over to the UK at the end of April and looking for a place to call home in Manchester from mid-May.

A bit about me, I’m a sociable and easygoing person who enjoys a balance of being active and relaxing. I love hiking, running, and going to the gym, but I’m just as happy unwinding with a glass of red at the end of the week, checking out wine bars and pubs, or watching some good (and sometimes very cringey) Netflix series. I’m also a big Formula 1 fan, especially Oscar Piastri (got to support the Aussies!).

I currently work as a Legal Support Officer in local government in Western Australia and will be looking for a similar role once I’m settled in Manchester.

I’d also love to live with people who are up for being social, whether that’s grabbing a drink, exploring the city, or trying new spots around Manchester. It’d be great to make some friends as well as housemates, while still respecting each other’s space.

What I’m looking for:

A double room (ideally with a private bathroom)

Budget up to £900 per month including bills

Areas: Ancoats, Salford Quays, Didsbury, but open to other areas for the right place

A clean, friendly household with a good vibe

I’m respectful, tidy, and enjoy a home where people can have a chat or hang out but also have their own space when needed.
