Hey i'm Sam, queer nonbinary and neorospicy (audhd). currently in Bristol with my eye on getting back to my spiritual home of London. I'm looking for a place that is suitable for my interests and for my teen kiddo (16) to be able to visit occasionally (they are starting college this year and will undoubtedly be wanting more of their own time with friends as they have more freedom in the world post secondary school)

about me: I like to surround myself with lovely supportive company for light hearted sociable, surrealy banterous and supportive vibes. I have a zero tolerance policy on disruptive problematic behaviour, and anyone thats ever passed a stringent vibe check can tell you, this can improve the quality of life experience in those spaces immeasurably, thats what my friend circles have always been like, and how I need my home life to be. im not interested in policing folks behaviour which is why this is important to be upfront so i can relax about things and get on with community building. lets check our own stuff and build each other up, not knock each other down.

whilst my preferred day to day is harmonious, relaxed and chilled, my interests veer into the weirdo, niche, outsider and extreme when it comes to the kind of culture I seek out at events and gatherings. Youll find me at annual gatherings like Supernormal, Monochrome, Damnation, Acidhorse and Supersonic festival.

at home I like to spend time recording improvised AV sonic rituals (this is done on headphones).

cooking shared meals, almost everyone i've ever hungout with in any meaningful (or even passing) sense discovers this pretty quickly as I pull out a smorgasboard of various tuppawares filled with different dishes.

catching up on the day to day political goings on from a hard left perspective, at the very least seeing what Novara Media are covering that day.

checking in with my fellow housemates and taking time to talk through whatevers going on for anyone of us.

I enjoy and thrive off hosting food and film nights where we collectively roast the outer depths of so bad its good/shlocky/trash cinema (very good endorphin generator) over a delicious shared meal with a few of our preferred favourite tipples. this will be hosted at various members of the groups own homes where possible and appropriate.

im often out for gigs, exhibitions, pot lucks, talk and discussion events, urban/rural wonderings, club nights (oh hi again FOLD oh how ive missed you) and frequenting independent cinemas like PRC, Nickle Cinema, Arzner and anywhere else that shows films off the beaten track and unavailable on corporate streaming sites (im a torrenter and know how to access the whole world of cinema as per my own and co watchers needs).
