Sociable Student Seeking Future Flatmates

My name is Ana and I will be moving to London in August 2027 as a PGCE student in Secondary Citizenship and Social Sciences studies. Knowing how challenging the London housing market is, I thought I might start looking around now just to see what is out there housing options wise so I'm prepared when it is time to move.

I'd love flatmates that I can socialize with through occasional pub trips, wine nights, and flat dinners; however, I do respect alone time and am not expecting constant socialization. My preferred living situation is with other young women in their 20s, but I am open to men flatmates as well. I am clean and tidy and desire flatmates that clean up after themselves in shared living spaces. I would love to collaborate with my flatmates on making our shared living spaces feel like a home, for example I love to decorate with flower bouquets.

I do have a cat named Peter who is a big sweetheart. This does mean I need a flat that allows cats and flatmates that are comfortable living with a cat. He is very well behaved, litter boxed trained, and has lived with other dogs and cats before so will be perfectly happy making friends with any pets you may bring.

I love to travel and have family living in Belgium, Germany, and Montenegro so I try to travel to see them once a year or so. I enjoy going to pilates and yoga classes to stay active throughout the week. Some of my favorite weekend activities to get out of the flat are visiting museums, walking around parks, thrifting, people watching in cafes, going to various markets, and getting drinks at the pub with friends. While I do enjoying going out occasionally, I don't bring the party home with me. I am open to a house party as long as all flatmates are on board with it. While relaxing at home I enjoy watching love island, reading, baking some sweet treats (that I'd love to share with the flat), and cuddling with my cat Peter. I'd love flatmates who have some shared interests but I also enjoy learning about new hobbies.

My max rent is 1,000 pounds plus utilities. I'm currently saving up for the move so I will have 6 months rent upfront since I don't have a UK based guarantor. Let me know if you have a room that you think I would be a good fit for or if you'd like to buddy up!
