Looking for a room and hoping to meet new people

I work in the offshore industry which results in very adhoc work patterns, It means I’m home a lot of the year doing very little (meaning I’d be in the house or flat during the day - mentioning this as I’ve seen some ads preferring people that work in an office / have a traditional 9-5 as they work from home) so I really want to move somewhere new and more lively so I can meet new people around my age and do more fun things with my time off! I’ve listed some of my interests but all in all I’m quite an easy going person. When I am working I’m often gone for 3-6 weeks at a time. I have a car but depends if on where I can find a room I might or might not bring it with me - my budget is also flexible!
