Sociable PhD Student Wanting Furnished, Quiet Room

I am a PhD student looking for a change in my living environment. I am sociable, having lived in 4 countries across 3 continents. My local community consists of mainly other PhD colleagues and church friends. I like pets but have none of my own (am allergic to cats, but am willing to suffer for the love of them). I have an electrical piano and may sometimes sing in the shower, but I will be very careful about noise, and will plug in earphones when playing during quiet hours. I have a desk on campus and will mostly be away during office hours to work. I have a stable income from a scholarship stipend and I work as a teaching assistant.
