Looking for friendly flatshare in Gipsy Hill!

Hi there, I'm Jack!

I'm a freelance Research Assistant, and I'm moving to Gipsy Hill to be closer to my friends and loved ones as I build my career in the arts and social charity sectors.


My move-in date is flexible and completely negotiable -- I put May 4th since I want to move in as soon as I can in May, but it gives me some time to prepare! (It's also Star Wars day!)
I'm looking for a relatively furnished double room in a friendly flatshare! I'd prefer a space with plenty of light, a good kitchen, and a great deal of whimsy--art on the walls, plants in the windows, that sort of thing. Budget negotiable, but my max limit is around £1k/month. I thrive in spaces which feel like a community, but I also appreciate a good dose of privacy, too. Flat dinners, cinema/theatre trips, and a calm space to unwind in after a long day.

A few bits about me: I love to write; I identify as Queer and Asexual; I am a huge pottery nerd (originally from Stoke-on-Trent!); I am always collecting books from charity shops; I love travelling and visiting friends; and I love cooking for myself and others.

Above all, I do what I can to be a tidy and respectful and friendly housemate. I'm a relaxed person to be around, but I do my bit to share the responsibility of maintaining shared spaces. My work is flexible and varied but I balance my hours between working away and from home. I can give plenty of references if needed.


Gipsy Hill is the home of my dearest and most loved friends, and I'm hoping to see more of them! When I'm with them we play board games and drink wine and cook together and host dinner parties for our friends. They are the most friendly people and they are always welcoming of new faces -- so if this sounds like your cup of tea, get in touch!
